Description
VideoWorkshop on Lead Climbing part 1 includes:
- Introduction to the idea and essentials of lead climbing and the key procedures of the belayer;
- Most important information about the structure and the application of quickdraws;
- Clipping rope into quickdraws – correct technique and consequences of the incorrect technique;
- Correct procedure of preparing a rope before climbing – rarely mentioned but important for safety and comfort of climbing, issues;
- Correct technique for lead climbing and common mistakes, including clipping the rope too early, Z-clipping and biting down on the rope before clipping;
- Useful exercises to improve clipping the rope.
