Description
VideoWorkshop on Lead Climbing part 2 includes:
- Correct technique for giving and taking slack;
- Procedures that need to be done before climbing – planning the first bolt clipping and a partner check;
- Spotting until the first bolt;
- Starting the action of belaying with the belaying device;
- Posture of the belayer;
- Correct amount of slack, which depends on various variables;
- Coming up to and going away from the wall – the fastest ways of giving and taking slack;
- “Take” during the lead climbing and lowering to the ground;
- Example of comfortable and safe exercise for belaying during the lead climbing.
